Prior to Minnesota
Niwot High School (2005) ¥ swam for Boulder Swim Club ¥ U.S. national qualifier in the 200, 400, 800, 1500 free events ¥ competed in the 200, 400, 800 and 1500 at the 2005 U.S. nationals ¥ placed 25th at the 2004 Olympic Trials in the 400 free ¥ won the 2004 Junior National championship in the 400 free ¥ NISCA All-American and Academic All-American.
