• Graduated from Greater Atlanta Christian School. • Swam for Swim Atlanta and was coached by Chris Davis. • Named the 2009 Georgia High School Swimmer of the Year. • Was the 18-and-under national champion in the 1,650 freestyle. • Was the 2009 state champion the 500 freestyle. • Set the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association record in the 500 freestyle. • Was a seven-time All-American. • Was a part of the team that won the 2010 Class 4-A state championship. • Won the 2010 state championship in the 200 and 500 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay. • Selected to the 2009-2010 USA National Youth Team.
