With conference championships right around the corner fewer than half of all Division II programs were in action. Many rosters have seen significant change over the past week. However, this week's TeamUnify / CollegeSwimming.com Division II National Swimmers-of-the-Week,- UCSD sprinter Colleen Daley and Bloomsburg's versatile Eric Usbeck - are seasoned veterans. Those two were named performances January 25-31, 2016.
Daley helped #4 UC-San Diego to a 210-88 win over Division I San Diego. Daley, the defending PCSC champion in the 100 free that event just 0.05 ahead of USD's Danielle Taylor. Daley was the 2014 PCSC 50 Free champion and was just edged by teammate Natalie Tang in that event. For her part, Tang was named PCSC Swimmer-of-the-Week. Across the land, Usbeck captured three events to lead #14 Bloomsburg over #27 Indiana (PA) and #34 Gannon at the Crimson Hawk Invitational.
