Oakland's Patricia Aschan won three events, while diver Stirling Fordham won both the one and three-meter boards as the Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams out swam Wayne State 177-115 for the women and 178-116 for the men.
Aschan won the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.42), the 200 breaststroke (2:21.43) and was a part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:47.10) and Krissy Harmon won both the 1000 and 500 freestyle (10:27.95, 5:08.77).
Other event wins for the women included Takara Martin in the 100 breaststroke and 100 butterfly (1:04.07, 57.42), Cassie Misiewicz in the 200 butterfly (2:10.32), Nikki Flynn in the 50 and 100 freestyle (24.36, 52.61), and Hannah Burgess in the 200 backstroke (2:08.36)
Event wins on the men's side included Jacob Pearson in the 1000 freestyle (9:54.99), Devon Nowicki in the 200 freestyle (1:41.76),John Schihl in the 100 breaststroke (58.91), Mitch Alters in the 200 butterfly (1:53.0), Tuomas Kiviluoma in the 100 freestyle (47:26)Ayrton Kasemets in the 200 breaststroke (2:08.09), and Ben VanderWeide in the 500 freestyle (4:46.09).
