Colgate Head Coach Andy Waeger
(On women’s performance)
“The women were in control from the start. We’re really happy with just about everyone’s performance today. We had a strong 1-2 finish in the 1000 free by a freshman-sophomore combination and Morgan Cohara just swam in a dominating fashion, winning her events handily.”

(On men’s performance)
“If you look at last year’s meet, the score was 220-60 in favor of St. Bonaventure and the highest we placed was third twice. This year, we had a handful of wins, cracked the 100-point plateau and held them to significantly less point then they had last year. It shows that our men are rapidly improving. Top to bottom, this might have been our best dual meet for the men in my time here.”

(On upcoming meets)
“We’re on the road for tough back-to-back competitions next weekend. It will be fun to get this team on the road and see what they can do.”

Colgate is back in action Oct. 24 with a 6 p.m. meet at Bryant.  The meet will be a swimming-only competition.
