Towson's Mead Indicited

Maureen Mead, the Towson University diving coach has been indicted charges of altering evidence, peeping top and interception of communication, peeping Tom and altering evidence.  The charges stem from the discovery of a smartphone in the women's locker room.  

Last week Jake Shrum was elevated to Interim Head Coach while Mead, and Head Coach Pat Mead were placed on administrative leave. 

In response to the charges, the university issued a statement: "The investigation continues regarding other members of the coaching staff, and we will provide more information when it becomes available. The well-being of our student-athletes remains and will continue to be our top priority."

Mead has been with Towson since 1998 and helped found Tigerfish Aquatic Club.  The Meads have four children.
