The Wingate University men's and women's swimming teams competed in a unique dual meet against Gardner-Webb Friday night. The WU and GWU men's teams swam at the Wingate Natatorium, while the two women's teams competed at the Bost Pool in Boiling Springs.
Wingate leads the men's competition 98-69, while the WU Bulldogs hold a 47-point lead in the women's event (107-60). The dual meet will continue Saturday, with the genders switching venues. Wingate will host the GWU women, while Gardner-Webb will entertain the WU men. Both portions of the dual meet will start at 11 a.m
