UMW Adds Herendeen to Staff

Dalton Herendeen has been named the new assistant coach at the University of Mary Washington.  A 2012 Paralympian, Herendeen will be coaching and training with the Eagles as he finalizes his preparations for the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio.

Herendeen graduated from the University of Indianapolis this spring with a degree in physical therapy.  There he was a GLVC finalist for the Greyhounds.  He will join a program that just graduated four-time NCAA Champion and CSCAA Division III Swimmer-of-the-Year Alex Anderson.  The Eagles do however, return the bulk of the team that brought home its 15th consecutive CAC title.
