Cahill Named Grad Assistant at TCU

TCU swimming & diving head coach Richard Sybesma announced Jenn Cahill has joined the staff as a graduate assistant.

“We are excited to have a coach of Jenn’s caliber join our staff,” Sybesma said. “Her experience as a coach and recruiter will be valuable to our program.”

Cahill, a 2013 graduate of Boise State, still holds the school records in the 1000 (9:56.86) and the 1650 (16:27.80) freestyle events. She is the only Bronco to ever break the 10-minute mark in the 1000 free. Cahill is a three-time conference champion in the 800 free relay and helped lead the Broncos to three team titles during her career.

She left Boise State with the third-most individual event wins in school history with 25. Her 13 wins during the 2009-10 season were the most by a Bronco freshman and tied for sixth all-time in a single season.

After graduating, Cahill spent time working as an assistant coach with the Rocky Mountain High School and the Boise YMCA Swim team in Boise, Idaho.

In August 2014, she joined the University of Puget Sound swimming team as an assistant coach. During her time in Tacoma, Washington, the Loggers put together a top five finish at the Northwest Conference Championships and garnered 35 All-Conference accolades.

Cahill was born and raised in Maui, Hawaii, where she swam under head coach Reid Yamamoto at the Hawaii Swim Club.
