Jacob Crayne finished second on the one-meter event during the first day at the UCLA Invitational.
Crayne came away with a score of 673.55. He finished behind USC's Collin Pollard, who finished with a score of 689.40.
For the women, Amanda Casillas took 11th on the three-meter event with a score of 519.00.
Jasmine Matkovic took 24th in the event with a score of 221.95 and Lauren Hall took 27th (216.80).
The Utes continue competition tomorrow with the men’s three-meter event and the women’s one-meter. Competition is set to begin at 11 a.m.
