Springfield, Ohio, native Emma Warax has signed with the Milligan College women's swimming team for the 2015-16 season.
In her time at Shawnee High School, Warax earned the distinction of Academic All-American while also swimming a 6:39.45 in the 500m freestyle event and a 1:26.43 in the 100m backstroke.
"I chose Milligan to learn in a Christian environment," expressed Warax. "I look forward to meeting new people and growing in my faith while at Milligan."
Warax, the daughter of Bill and Cheryl Warax, plans to major in biology with minors in Spanish and humanities while at Milligan.
