Kenyon Fast Chance Recaps

Oberlin
Oberlin's swimming and diving teams finished up their regular season at the Kenyon College Fast Chance Invitational, posting multiple school records.

The highlight of the day for Oberlin came on the diving boards where senior Jordan Attwood posted regional qualifying marks with a 491.80 at the 1-meter depth.

Madeleine Prangley started the day by finishing third in the 500 free with a new school-record time of 5:06.66. Samma Regan added another school-record performance in the 200 yard free, touching in at 1:56.31 to place fourth overall.

Lauren Wong just missed the NCAA cut in the 200 back by clocking a 2:06.12 to finish fifth overall, however, she surpassed Laura Fries to establish a new school record in the event.

In the women's 400 IM, Wong was second overall by clocking a time of 4:39.82, improving on her personal-best time that is third-best in school history.

Vera Hutchison improved upon her lifetime best in the 200-yard butterfly with an NCAA 'B' cut time of 2:07.87, which is good for second all-time in Oberlin history.

Marshall Waller added another school record in the 100-yard back as his time of 52.24 bested that off Dave Stevenson (52.75), which has stood since 1991.

Attwood will continue his season at the regional diving meet next weekend, while the rest of the team is now done for the season.
