Four league records were set on day two of the 2014 Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships at the IU Natatorium. League newcomer, Denver continues to lead both the men’s and women’s standings after winning seven swimming events Thursday evening.
The first of four Summit League championship records were set during the afternoon preliminaries as South Dakota State’s Connor Florand tallied a league-record score in the men’s three-meter dive with 342.90 points.
In the women’s one-meter dive final, South Dakota’s Greysen Hertting recorded 293.00 points to become the first USD women’s diver to win a league crown.
The Denver women’s squad set three league championship records, two individual and one relay. Bridgette McNally captured the women’s 500 free title with a league record and NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 4:46.18, while Drew Matthews won the women’s 50 free posting a time of 22.90 for the league record and an NCAA ‘B’ cut. The Pioneer’s 200 free relay team of Sam Corea, Matthews, Johanna Roas and Zoe Huddleston captured the league title in 1:30.90 for the championship meet record.
Also highlighting day two of competition was South Dakota State men’s first Summit League relay title in program history. Ben Bolinske, Daniel Jacobson, Phil Albu and Wil Hogue teamed up for the winning 200 free relay time of 1:22.31.

· Denver’s Kyle Robrock won the men’s 50 free with a time of 20.15, an NCAA ‘B’ cut time.
· The Pioneer women’s squad (S. Corea, D. Matthews, J. Roas, Z. Huddleston) captured the 200 free relay in league-record fashion with a time of 1:30.90.
· The SDSU men’s team won the 200 free relay, its first league relay title in program history, with a time of 1:22.31.
