Due to inclement weather in
Atlanta and continued travel challenges for schools in the
University Athletic Association, Case Western Reserve University
will now host a satellite UAA Swimming & Diving Championship on
Saturday and Sunday, February 15-16, at Veale Natatorium.
The University of Rochester (N.Y.) is a confirmed participant, and Carnegie Mellon and Chicago are likely to join in.
Yesterday, UAA officials announced that the scheduled three-day championship in Atlanta would be condensed to two days due to winter storms in the Southeast and flight cancellations for visiting schools. Emory University (Ga.) will still serve host to several of the UAA schools on Friday and Saturday. Results from the two meets will be compiled to determine team standings and individual All-UAA performances.
