The Triton men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams concluded the 2014 calendar year for the UC San Diego Intercollegiate Athletics Department with dual meets Monday at San Diego State’s Aztec Aquaplex.

The Tritons defeated the United States Air Force Academy (3-6), 151-132, and the University of the Incarnate Word (2-7) out of San Antonio, Texas, 180.5-114.5. They fell, however, to the still-undefeated host Aztecs (12-0), 151-127. On the men’s side, No. 7 UCSD (2-2) was an even 1-1, cruising past former Division II rival Incarnate Word (1-4), 196-102, but dropping a 173-115 decision to Air Force (12-4).
