Nova Southeastern Releases Schedule

The Nova Southeastern University swimming and diving program has released its schedule for the upcoming 2014-15 season. NSU will open the regular season at the All-Florida Invitational in Gainesville, Florida from Oct. 3-5.

"Our student-athletes will be looking to be competitive all season long starting with our first meet in Gainesville," stated head coach Hollie Bonewit-Cron. "We have brought in top level talent to join our seasoned veterans who are looking to have a very successful year."

The Sharks, who've brought in a slew of newcomers to add to an already talented pool of veterans, will host its first home dual of the season against Lynn on Oct. 30 at 3 p.m. That will be followed shortly by a Nov. 1 dual with Rollins at 2 p.m.

After two road trips to JUCO powerhouse Indian River and Tampa, NSU will once again host the Shark Invitational from Dec. 18-21. The Sharks will face off against the region's toughest teams in what has become a December tradition at the NSU Aquatic Complex.

At the start of 2015, NSU will host two Saturday home meets on Jan. 3 and Jan. 10 against Delta State and Florida Southern, respectively. The Sharks' final Sunshine State Conference dual will come at Florida Tech on Jan. 31 at 11 a.m.

From Feb. 19-22, NSU will compete in the 2015 SSC Championship in Orlando, Florida. After a last-chance meet at the NSU Aquatic Complex on Feb. 23, the season will conclude with the 2015 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving National Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana from March 11-14.
