Colorado State Adds Rembert

Head Coach Christopher Woodard announced the addition of Kylie Rembert to the Colorado State women’s swimming & diving program. Rembert is one of eight athletes who will join the Rams’ roster this fall.

“Kylie was a lucky late addition for us,” Woodard said. “We are big fans of RallySport and Coach Grant Hollicky, and feel that Kylie will give us depth and potential in the distance events. We had seen Kylie swim, but after visiting with her we were sold that she possess the qualities we desire in a Rams swimmer.”

A native of Longmont, Colo., Rembert swam for Silver Creek High School and RallySport Aquatics. She holds school records in the 100 Freestyle (10:54.70), 200 Freestyle (1:56.10) and 200 IM, and was a two-time all-conference selection and three-time team MVP recipient.

Rembert also was a sectional qualifier in the mile, posting a time of 18:06.56.

In addition to Rembert, CSU’s signing class includes Katie Kicklighter, Carmen Mand, Colleen Olson, Ketti Ringwall, Gianna Salanitro, Hailey Spratte and Erin Taylor. Those seven signed in November, part of the early signing period.

The Rams are coming off their best season in four years. Three athletes earned All-Mountain West accolades for finishing in the conference's top eight, with all three returning to the pool this fall.
