The SEC, Big Ten and ACC all named their women's champions last week and not surprisingly, those three were the only conferences represented in the top ten. After Georgia, Texas A&M and Florida rounded out the top three followed by Big Ten Champion Minnesota, Auburn, ACC Champion Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, Penn State and North Carolina.
On the men's side, both the Big Ten and ACC were idle leaving the SEC to dominate the top ten. Following Florida were Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Missouri and Louisiana State. Texas and Michigan, previously ranked first and second dropped seven spots and were followed by Alabama.
Pac-12 and Big XII powers California, Southern California, Stanford and Texas all remained in the top-25 on the basis of their previous meets. Those teams plus Arizona will all get their chance to move up at their respective championships.
On the men's side Texas and Michigan will look to return to the top five at this weekend's Big XII and Big Ten Championships. Stanford, California, USC and Arizona will have to wait two weeks until the Pac 12 Championships.
