Marquee matchups last weekend led to a shakeup of the latest
Endless Pools / CollegeSwimming.com Top 25. The University
of Florida jumped to the top of the women's following its 167-133
win over the University of Tennessee. At the same time, the
University of Southern California returned to competition and the
Top 25. While USC couldn't overcome California's start power
in its dual meet against the reigning NCAA Champions, its depth
helped the Trojans re-enter the poll at second. The
University of Texas knocked Michigan out of the top spot in the
men's poll. The Wolverines posted their top performance of
the semester with a 251-75 win over Ohio State, but it wasn't
enough to overcome the Longhorns who were led by Michael McBroom's
NCAA record in the 1000 freestyle. The biggest moves of the week came courtesy the Ivy League.
The annual H-Y-P meets propelled Princeton's men and Harvard's men
and women's teams into the top ten. The heated rivalry, combined
perhapst, with some rest led the Tigers, Crimson and Yale to
the biggest time drops of the weekend.

objective ranking of all three NCAA Divisions plus the NAIA and
NJCAA. The poll ranks teams based on their top performances
over the preceding month.
