Fresno State Downs Cal State East Bay

The Fresno State swimming and diving team improved to 4-1 in dual meets with a 119-84 win over Cal State East Bay on Saturday afternoon in the Bay Area.
 
Freshman Hailee Baldwin won two individual meets and also was a part of the winning 400 Medley Relay. Baldwin won the 400 IM in 4:37.07 and then later won the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:23.54.
 
The ‘Dogs won eight of the 11 events on the day to win their fourth straight dual meet.
 
Other individual winners were Kelly Simmons (1000 Freestyle, 10:43.26), Brooke Fuller (200 Free, 1:57.21), Leah Hatayama (50 Free, 24.51) and Kali Conlon (100 Fly, 1:00.33). Fresno State also won the 200 Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:39.92.
 
The Bulldogs now will take a three-week break before returning to the pool on Saturday, January 4 when they will take on Cal State Bakersfield at noon at the Aquatics Center.
