Harvard Sweeps Mid-Major TItles

Harvard University has swept the 2012-13 CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major Division I titles.  Both teams were ranked number one in the final poll which accounts for team performances following their respective conference meets.  It is the fifth title for Harvard's women and the first for the men's team.  Princeton University finished second behind the Crimson for both the men and women while Miami-OH's women and Eastern Michigan's men's teams ranked third.

In all 121 teams from seventy-five schools participated in the season's polling.  Now in its 11th year, the Mid-Major Rankings serve to provide an objective point system to compare teams’ relative strength in a traditional dual meet lineup. The ranking is available to those institutions that a) are not members of a BCS conference or Mountain West Conference, or b) provide fewer than one-half of the allowable scholarships under the NCAA rules.
