Endless Pools Division III - Emory & Kenyon Again

The latest Endless Pools / CollegeSwimming.com Division III Top 25 showed no change among the top four men's and women's teams.  For the third straight week Emory's women led the rankings ahead of Denison, Kenyon and Johns Hopkins.  Two teams made impressive rankings debuts.  MIT entered the rankings at number five following their win over Springfield College while Saint Olaf debuted at number six.  The two were joined by five more teams (#14 UW-LaCrosse, #16 Gustavus Adolphus, #23 St. Thomas, #24 Trinity (TX) and #25 Grove City) making their first appearance their rankings.

On the men's side the top four remained the same with Kenyon leading the way followed by Emory, Johns Hopkins and Denison.  Like its men, MIT made its first appearance of the year in fifth.  TCNJ (8th), Saint Olaf (12th), and Wabash (23rd) made their poll debuts. 

The next three weeks should provide a considerable shake-up in the rankings.  Several teams' top performance will pass out of the ranking's three-week time period while many other teams face big meets in the coming week.  The Points for the Endless Pools / CollegeSwimming.com Top 25 are calculated using the average percentile rank of each team's top twenty-seven in each meet.  The Top 25 are ranked according on the basis of each team's highest-scoring meet within the previous three weeks.
