Iowa's Recruiting Comes A Long Ways

Iowa City , May 30th, 2012
Iowa's Recruiting Comes A Long Ways Nearly a decade ago the University of Iowa were left reeling by a recruiting scandal.  That appears to be old news, however as the Hawkeyes introduced twenty new signees.  The class comes on the heels of a breakthrough season for the Hawkeyes who have been building since long before the construction of the new CWRC.

“Our incoming class represents an outstanding and talented group of individuals,” said Long. “They’ve proven themselves as winners in the pool and classroom.  We’re excited to have them join our program.  The future looks bright for the Hawkeyes.”

For the first time in recent memory the Hawkeyes signed the consensus number-one in-state recruit recruit on the women's side.  That positions them well as they go after a much more talented in-state class in 2013.
