Scoring the Olympics

Ever wonder how colleges would stand if the Olympics were scored like the NCAA Championships?   Ninety-one of all semi-finallists  swims were produced by current or former collegians.  Just over half (50) of those were produced by Americans with the remaining produced by swimmers representing other countries.

If the meet were scored out like NCAA's, here is how the points would have shaken out (using individual swims only):
