Fresno State was defeated by WAC-rival San Jose State, 197-100, to end the Bulldogs’ regular season Feb. 5 in Fresno, Calif. … the divers had a great meet for the Bulldogs as Stacey Luke and Hannah Prigge each qualified for the NCAA Zones … Luke claimed the 1-meter title with a score of 271.65 with Prigge finishing in second with a score of 266.92 … sophomore Dani Yoho won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.50.
Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine
The Rainbow Wahine split a double dual against Wyoming and San Diego State in
San Diego, Calif., Jan. 28-29 … Hawai’i defeated Wyoming 155-145 but fell to San Diego State 152-144 … the diving team swept both events, with seniors Stephanie De Lima and Emma Friesen winning the 3-meter (296.60) and 1-meter (295.25) events, respectively … Taylor Ritenberg took first in the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.93 and set a new pool record at UCSD in the 200 breast with a time of 2:15.64.

The Vandals lost their regular season finale, 157-48, to Washington State Feb. 5
in Pullman, Wash. … freshman Shana Lim once again won her specialty with a victory in the 100 backstroke (56.26) … senior Elizabeth Jagusch had a strong race, recording a runner-up finish in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.90 … Alyson O’Brien had a second-place finish in the 50 free with a time of 24.54.

The Wolf Pack finished their regular season with a 124-80 loss to Seattle University
Jan. 29 in Seattle, Wash. … newcomer Andrea Kostecki had a great meet as she claimed first in the 200-yard (1:53.78) and 100-yard (53.63) freestyle events after swimming the anchor leg of the Wolf Pack’s first-place 200-yard medley relay team
(1:51.91) … senior Marichi Gandionco took first in the 200-yard butterfly (2:08.36) and swam the third leg for the 200-yard medley relay team.
New Mexico State Aggies
The Aggies defeated in-state-rival New Mexico 144-98 for the fourth consecutive time
Feb. 5 in Las Cruces, N.M. … NM State set the tone for the meet as the 200-medley relay team of freshman Terrin Seaver, Lawrence, sophomore Beth Cate and senior Kelly Conrad won the race with a time of 1:45.24 The Aggies swept the 50 free with Conrad, junior Gina Palombit and sophomore Kelsey Konicke taking first, second and third, respectively. Conrad also took first in the 100 fly.
Northern Arizona Lumberjacks
The Lumberjacks came away from Las Vegas, Nev., with a solid showing in the Rebel Diving Invite over the weekend … NAU took the top five spots in the 3-meter diving event as sophomore Kristi Ardavanis claimed the title with a score of 297.25 … senior Taryn Harris was the Lumberjacks’ top finisher in the 1-meter diving event, placing third with a score of 269.90 … all six of NAU’s divers placed inside the top-10 on 1-meter.
San Jose State Spartans
The Spartans had a nice victory over WAC rival Fresno State as they beat the Bulldogs 197-100 on Feb. 5 in Fresno, Calif. … with the victory, the Spartans finish the season with a dual meet record of 8-1 … seniors Rudie Guerrero, Julia Koch, Ashley Krisman, Cailtin Macky and Julie Wynn all contributed to the win in their final regular season appearance for the Spartans … Koch won the 200 free and 500 free … Guerrero won the 100 back and 100 fly.
