No Changes Atop CSCAA Division III Poll

The College Swim Coaches Association of America Division III Coaches Poll Committee is pleased to announce its Second Top 25 Coaches Poll of the 2011-2012 season. On the women’s side, the top five teams remained the same, with the Emory Eagles once again garnering the top spot in the poll. The Eagles are followed by Denison, Kenyon, Johns Hopkins, and Williams in the top five. For the men, Kenyon College was once again a unanimous selection for the top spot, with Denison, Emory, MIT, and Johns Hopkins rounding out the top five.

There were a lot of changes and several new additions to the women's poll at this, the half-way point of the season. The biggest jump came from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, who went from being unranked in the first poll, to earning the 16th position in this poll. New York University and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point also went from being unranked to earning the 19th and 25th spots this time around.
The men’s poll saw five new teams make their way into the rankings, with the biggest jump made by UW-Stevens Point, who went from unranked to 11th. Others achieving their first rankings of the year are New York University, University of Rochester, College of Staten Island, and Keene State College. The other notable jump in the rankings came from Ohio Northern University, who moved up nine spots to 16th.
