A familiar face and new upstart top the first CSCAA/CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major ranking of the year. The US Naval Academy, champions of the 2008 and 2009 Mid-Major season, lead the mens ranking while Towson University sits atop the women's ranking for the first time in school history.
Full RankingThe Mid-Major ranking uses is available to those institutions that a) are not
members of a BCS conference or Mountain West Conference, or b) provide fewer than one-half of the allowable
scholarships under the NCAA rules.
A record fifty-seven schools submitted entries in the first ranking of the season. Future release dates are scheduled for December 15, January 12, February 9 and March 9.
