Oakland Wins 400 Medley at Tom Stubbs Relays

Senior Agnes Solan, freshman Sandra Czerska, freshman JulieAnne Stears and freshman Alyssa Busch swam a time of 4:05.45 to win the 400-yard medley relay to pace the Oakland University women’s swimming and diving team at the Tom Stubbs Relays on Friday night.
 
The Golden Grizzlies finished second in four other relays.
 
Oakland scored runner-up performance in the 200 medley (Solan, sophomore Johanna Gustafsson, Czerska and sophomore Alysa Vela) with a time of 1:47.71, the 300 backstroke (Solan, senior Sarah Ludema and freshman Alyssa Busch) with a time of 2:56.69), the 1500 freestyle (freshman Candace Savonen, senior Marie Stuve and sophomore Tanya Tereszczenko) with a time of 15:51.74 and the 500 free with a time of 4:17.75.
 
OU opens up the home season, Saturday, Oct. 17 hosting Illinois and Toledo in a triangular meet.  The meet is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
