Katie Dorian (Newtown Square, Pa./Notre Dame Academy) won a pair of events to lead McDaniel to a 63-28 victory over Bryn Mawr in Centennial Conference (CC) women’s swimming action on Saturday.
The Green Terror (1-7, 1-5 CC) won seven of the first nine events to seal its first victory of the season.
Kelsey Power led the Owls (1-9, 0-6 CC) with a pair of individual victories.
Dorian touched first in the 200 free with a time of 2:07.60 and in the 500 free with a time of 5:39.12.
Rachel Walega (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) and Danielle Smith (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) each added two victories for McDaniel.
The duo teamed with Amanda Burke (Baltimore, Md./Loch Raven) and Andrea Mills (Laurel, Md./Laurel) to open the meet with a victory in the 400 medley relay, combining for a time of 4:32.34.
Walega added a win in the 50 free (26.92) while Smith was victorious in the 200 backstroke (2:27.65).
Gaby Cifuentes (Princeton, N.J./Princeton) and Alyssa Romasco (Gilbertsville, Pa./Perkiomen) added the other two victories for McDaniel.
Cifuentes touched first in the 1000 free (11:44.20) and Romasco touched first in the 100 free (59.38).
The Green Terror returns to action at Washington (Md.) on Saturday. Meet time is 1 p.m.
