Penn State Behrend Split With Buffalo State

Buffalo State’s swimming and diving teams competed in a dual meet at Penn State Behrend this evening, with the men tying 120-120 and the women fell 120-92.

Scott Banks (N. Tonawanda/Niagara-Wheatfield) won the 400 IM in 4:51.24, Lance Thornton (Hastings/Hastings) won the 50 free in 22.93, and Nate Schaum (Binghamton/Binghamton) claimed the 100 back in 57.03 to account for the individual wins for the Bengals men.

Elizabeth Klock (Williamsville/Williamsville South) earned first-place points as the lone swimmer in the 1650 free, clocking 22:26.

Buffalo State’s women will be in action again tomorrow at William Smith.
