Female Swimmer of the Week

- Swam her way to a LCM career best time of 16:40.74 en route to winning the 1,500 free against Auburn.
 
- Beat her previous career best 5.44 seconds to earn the win, touching in 18.95 seconds ahead of the rest of the field
 
- Her converted time of 16:15.72 in the 1,650 was an automatic NCAA qualifying time as well as Olympic Trials cut 
 
- Set her second career best and second Trials cut time in LCM by winning the 400-free with a time of 4:17.37, besting her previous best by 1:45 seconds 
 
Female Diver of the Week
Kari Retrum, Sr.
Kentucky
Noblesville, Ind.
 
- Concluded her career by winning both diving events against Cincinnati in her final meet at the Lancaster Aquatic Center.
 
- Her one-meter score of 297.75 ranks sixth in the SEC, while her three-meter score of 323.03 ranks fourth in the league
 
- Both are season best scores  
 
Female Freshman of the Week
Caitlin Geary

- Won all three events she competed in and score 27 points for Auburn
 
- Recorded a NCAA automatic time and Olympic Trials cut in the 200 free (2:01.94 converted to 1:46.58)
 
- Recorded two “B” cut times in the 50 free (26.39 converted to 22.99) and 100 free (56.99 converted to 49.81)

Male Swimmer of the Week

- Scored 33 points in No. 6 Auburn’s 165-135 win over NO. 5 Florida
 
- Broke the 20-second barrier in the 50 free three times during the meet
 
- Swam a converted “A” cut time of 19.53 in the 50 free
 
- Also won the 100 free with a converted time of 44.27
 

Male Diver of the Week
David Ovelson, Sr.
South Carolina
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada 

- Swept both diving events against Florida State
 
- In the 1-meter, defeated defending NCAA Champion Terry Horner with a score of 368.47
 
- His 1-meter score ranks him third in the SEC and his 3-meter score of 375.75 ranks him fifth.
