MIAC Athletes of the Week

Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week
Macalester College first-year Nathan Young (Denver, Colo.) enjoyed a successful weekend at the Grinnell Invitational winning three events and placing third in another. His winning times came in the 200 individual medley (2:00.41), 100 backstroke (53.34), later going 52.20 for a NCAA B cut time and pool record during time trials, and 200 backstroke (1:55.53), also a pool record.  He placed third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:47.15.

Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week
Carleton College first-year Kale Zicafoose (Omaha, Neb.) broke her own pool record in the 100 Backstroke and was part of the 200 Medley Relay that also set a new pool record (1:52.08) at Saturday's home meet. Her time in the 100 Backstroke is her first NCAA B cut of the season (59.43).
