Female Swimmer of the Week

*Led the Auburn women's team to three victories over ranked teams last week
*Swam four NCAA automatic qualifying times and three provisional times in the two meets, including the winning 400 IM time of 4:10.97
*With the Tigers down three points, led a 1,3,4 Auburn finish with an “A” cut time of 1:59.05 in the 200 IM to give Auburn a seven-point lead
*Swam the anchor on the winning 400 free relay, posting AU's fastest split of the event (49.15) to lead the Tigers to victory over No. 6 Texas A&M
*Won six of the seven events she competed in during the two meets

 

Female Diver of the Week
Rachel Ware, So.

Richmond, Texas


*Won three out of her four events and finished second in the other against Florida State and Florida
*Placed first in the 3-meter with 291.10 points against Florida State and second in the 1-meter with 233.40 points
*The two-time NCAA All-American captured victories in both of the events against No. 7 Florida
*She posted a score of 286.50 in the 1-meter and tallied 301.50 points in the 3-meter against the Gators

 

Female Freshman of the Week

*The Austin, Texas native helped Georgia win at No. 16 Texas, 175-119
*Won the 500-yard free in 4:48.68
*Won the 1,650-yard free in 16:15.50, improving her NCAA automatic qualifying standard

*Competing in his first meet of the season, he swam a NCAA qualifying time in his first individual event while also posting three “B” cut times
*Led Auburn as they split, falling to No. 1 Texas and defeating No. 20 Texas A&M
*Won the 100 free in 43.09 for his “A” cut time, and topped that in the final event of the meet swimming a 42.87 relay leadoff in the 400 free relay
*Earned wins in the 200 free and 100 butterfly in meet against Texas A&M

 

Male Diver of the Week
Chris Colwill, Sr.
Georgia
Brandon, Fla.


*In Georgia's meet with No. 1 Texas, won both springboard events
*Took the 1-meter with 430.12 points, winning by 40.12 points
*Claimed the 3-meter springboard with 459.89 points, winning by 34.27 points
*The 3-meter score improved his Zone B Championship qualifying standard
*The 3-meter score also extended his own school record
*Ranks first in the SEC on both springboards
