No. 1 Texas Defeats No. 20 Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - No. 1 Texas collected seven victories en route to a 119-99 victory over No. 20 Texas A&M Friday evening in the State Farm Lone Star Showdown at the Aggies' Student Rec Center Natatorium.  The win earns one point for UT in the State Farm Lone Star Showdown standings, where Texas A&M leads, 4.5-3.0.

                The Longhorns earned two victories from senior Matt McGinnis and one apiece from divers Jonathan Wilcox and Matt Cooper and swimmers Ricky Berens, Daniel Rohleder and Michael Klueh.

                Texas resumes competition on Saturday, Feb. 9 at SMU.  The meet kicks off at 5 p.m. Central at Perkins Natatorium.
