.: Aemisegger Headlines Mid-Major All-American Team

Somers, WI , April 21st, 2008

CollegeSwimming.com today announced the 2008 Division I Women’s Mid-Major All-America Swimming team and named Alicia Aemisegger of Princeton as its Women’s Mid-Major Swimmer-of-the-Year for the second consecutive year.

Thirty women earned the honor based on their qualification for the 2008 Women’s NCAA Division I Championships while another seventy-seven were given “Honorable Mention” status by earning NCAA ‘B’ time standards during the 2007-08 season.

“Women’s Division I swimming has never been healthier,” said CollegeSwimming.com director Greg Earhart, “and that’s evident by the breadth of teams represented. These thirty women and their coaches have shown that you can succeed outside of the big money conferences.”
