Aaron Holdsworth, Oakland Jr., (Wollongong, Australia/Illawarra Grammer)
Holdsworth earns Athlete of the Week honors after leading the Golden Grizzlies to wins over IUPUI and Wayne State last weekend at the Golden Grizzly Quad Meet. He clocked a personal-best time of 9:39.71 in the 1,000 freestyle, the top time in the league this season. He then won the 200 butterfly with a league-best time of 1:52.68. Holdsworth also swam the second leg of the 400 free relay team that posted a league-best time of 3:06.54.

WOMEN

Lauren Patterson, Oakland Fr., (Val Des Monts, Quebec/Philemon Wright)
Patterson claims Athlete of the Week honors after leading Oakland to a 3-1 record last week. She was instrumental in a narrow 122-121 win over Akron by finishing first in three events. She clocked a season-best time of 52.89 in the 100 free, won the 200 free  and swam the second leg of the winning 200 free relay team that swam a season-best time of 1:38.27. In the Quad Meet on Saturday, she posted a league-best time of 1:54.27 in the 200 free to finish in first place.
