MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Jacy Dyer - Toledo,  Freshman – Lebanon, Ohio (Cedar Crest HS)
Dyer won three events, the 1000 free (10:11.1), 200 free (1:52.89) and 500 free (5:01.41) as the Rockets defeated Illinois (183-115)  and Oakland (209-91) in a tri-meet held in Rochester, Mich.

Additional Women’s Nominations
Jessica Ballard – Buffalo, Sophomore – Montreal, Quebec (Academic Magnet)
In UB’s 128.5-84.5 victory over Duquesne, Ballard won two events and was part of a winning relay squad. She won the 200 individual medley (2:11.76) and 100 backstroke (1:00.25) and also sawn the backstroke portion of the winning 200 medley relay.

Madeleine Pilchard – Eastern Michigan, Senior – Marietta, Ga. (Walton HS)
Competing against Wayne State, Pilchard took first in the 500 freestyle, and 400 medley in a 137-97 win. Versus Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she finished first in the 400 medley, 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle in a 147-88 victory.

MAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Michael McDowell - Buffalo, Sophomore – Rush, N.Y. (Rush Henrietta)
McDowell set two new school records in winning both the one- and three-meter competitions in UB's 129-107 win over Duquesne. McDowell scored 325.88 points on the one-meter board, bettering his own mark from last season by two points. McDowell came back to claim the three-meter victory, extending his existing school record, with a total of 356.92 for the six-dive program, extending his previous school-record of 338.80 set last season as a freshman.

Additional Men’s Nominations
Derrick Roe – Eastern Michigan, Junior – Sidney, Ohio (Sidney HS)
Against Wayne State, Roe won the 50 and 100 freestyle. Versus Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he won the 500 and 100 freestyle and was part of the winning 400 freestyle relay team to help in a 145-87 win.
