Brittany Massengale of Rice is this week’s Conference USA Swimmer of the Week after winning all five individual events she competed in last week. The senior’s efforts helped Rice to four dual meet wins. Massengale won the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle twice each and also took the top spot in the 200-yard freestyle. As a member of the Rice B 200-yard freestyle relay team, her anchor time helped the Owls claim a come-from-behind win over host New Mexico State in the team scoring.
