.: ASU's Winslow Hired at Utah

Salt Lake City, UT , June 26th, 2007

Greg Winslow has been named as the new head swimming and diving coach at the University of Utah, Associate Athletic Director Pete Oliszczak announced on Tuesday, June 26.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to hire someone with Greg’s experience as our swimming and diving coach,” Oliszczak said. “We had an excellent pool of candidates for the position.”

Winslow comes to Utah after four years as an assistant at Arizona State University. He coached 12 All-Americans during his tenure, which began in 2003.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to be part of the University of Utah athletic program,” Winslow said. “I was really impressed by athletic department’s desire to win, and I’m really looking forward to the challenges that high expectations bring.”

Winslow takes over for Mike Litzinger who recently accepted a position at North Carolina
