The Westminster College men's and women's swimming teams picked up wins during their California trip Friday afternoon where they faced Occidental College.
The Titan men defeated the Tigers, 133-70, and the Titan women won 120-69.
The Westminster men's team improves its record to 6-2 on the season while the Westminster women are now 2-6.
There were three Titan women that won multiple events. Senior Emily Staniszewski won the 50-yard freestyle (26.82) and the 100 breaststroke (1:13.96). Junior Becky Giles captured the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:03.24, while also winning the 200 IM by clocking in at 2:15.28. Freshman freestyler Emily Dressler won the 100 free and the 200 free with times of 56.78 and 2:02.0, respectively.
Six different Westminster men's swimmers won individual events, led by senior All-American Ryan Trunk who won the 50 and 100 freestyle with times of 22.13 and 48.36.
