Senior Eric Boyer won two events and swam on two relay winners while sophomore Danielle Mortensen added two wins to help lead UNC Wilmington to a sweep in both men’s and women’s swimming and diving action against Colonial Athletic Association foes William & Mary and Davidson Saturday at the Seahawk Natatorium.

Boyer opened the meet swimming the anchor leg of the winning 200 Medley Relay (1:35.09) and closed out the meet again swimming the final leg of the winning 400 Freestyle Relay (3:09.76). In between, Boyer won the 50 Freestyle with a time of 20.96 and the 100 Freestyle in a time of 46.15.

Mortensen earned first-place honors in the 1,000 and 500 Freestyle swims with season-best times of 10:15.73 and 5:05.03, respectively.

Joining Boyer with multiple wins were freshman Andrew Rodgers and freshman diver Sean Corbet. Rodgers claimed the 100 and 200 Backstrokes with times of 53.67 (season-best) and 1:56.26, respectively. Corbet, meanwhile, continued his second half success by winning the 1 (187.30) and 3-meter boards (218.80).

In women’s diving, junior Anna Lisa Nieuwsma also won both boards by fashioning scores of 222.55 in the 1-meter and 219.75 in the 3-meter.
