Chris Reed was the lone double winner for McDaniel, who were swept to Marymount in non-conference men’s and women’s swimming action on Saturday.
The Saint men (7-2) downed the Green Terror (3-5) 57-30 while the Marymount (9-0) remained perfect with a 56-37 win over McDaniel (2-7).
In addition to Reed’s two victories on the men’s side, the Green Terror notched one more victory in the 11 competed events while the McDaniel women took home first-place finishes in the final three events.
Reed was victorious in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.65 and the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:18.59. Stephen Gomez touched first in the 200 butterfly, finishing with a time of 2:00.93.
After Amanda Sperling secured the meet with her second win of the day – a victory in the 200 backstroke (2:17.96), Molly Ruane took first in the 500 free in a time of 5:55.78.
Maaret Klaber notched a victory in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:43.25.
The Green Terror foursome of Stefanie McCole, Alyssa Romasco, Jamie Latham, and Ruane combined for a time of 4:09.50 in the 400 free relay to round out the meet.
McDaniel returns to action at home against Bryn Mawr on Saturday. Meet time is 1 p.m.
