.: CSCAA Poll Remains Largely Unchanged
Phoenix, AZ , December 3rd, 2007
While there's controversy atop the Bowl Championship Series rankings, there's little acrimony among the pollsters in Division I swimming. The CSCAA released their poll and not only was there no change among the top spots, there was no change at all in the women's top twenty-five.
This year’s poll will be published eight times and the champions will be crowned on February 27, 2008. Pollsters representing eight conferences along with two at-large voters have the task of ranking the top dual meet teams in the nation bi-weekly throughout the season. Additionally, the group of pollsters is completely different for the men’s and women’s rankings. This poll should not be confused with the results of the NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving championships that will take place in March.
The next poll results will be released on December 13, 2007.
