It looks like Auburn has done what it needs to to secure the national title. The Tigers went six up, five down, while the Wilcats were 4-1. It's not over mathematically of course. If the Wildcats improbably won each heat they're entered in and Auburn fell to the bottom the their respective heats - the 'Cats would escape with a 15-point win. That assumes the milers and relays hold their positions. If they score as seeded going into tonight, Auburn is poised to put fifty points on Arizona . . . as some teams have learned in recent weeks, however, all it takes is one hot swimmer or one bad relay start.
