Amanda Williams of St. Francis was recently named Northeast Conference's athlete of the week.

Williams paced the Red Flash in the program?s first-ever victories over Drexel (140-91) and La Salle (105-100) with three victories. In the 200 IM, Williams took home top honors in 2:10.38, which was also good enough for second place all-time at St. Francis. She also notched victories in the 100 free (54.52) and as part of the 400 medley relay team (4:08.59).

Williams has not lost a race in the second half of the season. The rookie has the fourth fastest time in the NEC in both the 100 (53.83) and 200 free (1:55.77) and the fifth fastest time in the 200 IM (2:10.38). The 10 Red Flash victories this season tie for the most in school history.
