Eastern Illinois' Bill Senese and IUPUI's Allison Robert were selected as the Mid-Con Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week after turning in solid performances last week.

Senese picks up his first Men’s Athlete of the Week honor after a solid performance in Eastern Illinois’ dual meet against Saint Louis. The junior picked up a pair of first-place finishes in the 50 freestyle (21.69) and 200 backstroke (1:57.91).

Rober garners her second Women’s Athlete of the Week honor after a strong performance in a dual meet against Ball State. The sophomore finished first in the 400 individual medley with a career-and season-best time of 4:41.92 It was also the second-fastest time in IUPUI history. She also added a second-place finish in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:09.89.
