This week’s Missouri Valley Conference Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week are Katie Lowry of Southern Illinois and Stacey Arkovich of Missouri State.

Lowry, of Arlington, Texas, won the 400 Individual Medley with a time of 4:37.38 in SIU’s dual meet victory over Evansville. She also won the 100-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:09.06.

Arkovich, of Ames, Iowa, placed first in the three-meter dive in Missouri State’s dual meet win over Webster and John Brown, with a score of 326.15. Her score was not only the best int he Valley this season by over twenty five points, but it was also an NCAA automatic qualifying mark.
