In that swim, LSU set a new pool record, school record and the fastest time in the SEC this season (1:31.52). The strong "B" cut shattered the old school record of 1:32.68 set in 1993. It was also clocked as the fourth-fastest time in the nation. Bertirotti opened the meet by helping LSU win the 400 medley relay. In her only individual event of the day, the junior won the 50 free in a NCAA provisional time of 23.36.

Miller took the top spot in the 1-meter against Indian River with 277.05, also the top score of the season for the team. Miller holds the top scores of the season for the women in the 1-meter, and has put up NCAA qualifying scores in both springboard events.
