Meet Results

The Marist College men's and women's swimming and diving teams claimed the league titles at the 2006 MAAC Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, held at the Fitness and Aquatic Center at Loyola College.

The Marist men won this year's MAAC crown with a total of 884 points, while Rider University registered 716 points for second place. Loyola College came in third with 508 points, followed by Iona College (360), Fairfield University (320), Niagara University (313), Saint Peter's College (295) and Canisius College (220).

On the women's side, Marist earned the conference crown as the Red Foxes tallied 821 points, while Rider finished in second place (782). Loyola came in third with 665 points, followed by Fairfield (402), Iona (324), Niagara (263), Siena College (182), Manhattan College (159), Canisius (132) and Saint Peter's (66).

Priscilla Modrov of Rider was named the MAAC Women's Most Outstanding Swimmer, while Marist's Meghan Duffy was named the MAAC Women's Most Outstanding Diver. The MAAC Men's Most Outstanding Diver was Dylan Korn of Rider, and the MAAC Men's Most Outstanding Swimmer was Brandon Modrov of Rider. Larry Van Wagner of Marist and Stephen Fletcher of Rider were named the Men's Co-Coaches of the Year, and Fletcher of Rider was named the Women's Coach of the Year. The Broncs' Dennis Ceppa was voted the Diving Coach of the Year.
