Junior Tristan Jones (Wanniassa, Australia) led the men’s team with three wins in the 100 breaststroke, 100 freestyle and the 200 IM. Sophomore Michael Brocki (Westhampton, N.Y.) and Freshman Adrian Astiz (Bethesda, Md.) captured two wins each for the Huskies. Brocki dominated the mid-distance freestyle events winning the 200 and 500, while Astiz took both the 100 and 200 butterfly events. Sophomores Michael Clifford (West Islip, N.Y.) and T.J. Ferguson (Plainville, Conn.) placed first and second in the diving events with Clifford winning the one meter dive and Ferguson winning the three meter dive.
Senior Ryan Smith (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) and Freshmen Kristalynn Kempton (Glen Head, N.Y.) and Liza Marianni (Cherry Hill, N.J.) each added two wins to lead the women’s team. Smith was victorious in the 100 backstroke and 200 IM. Kempton continued to dominate the breaststroke events winning the 100 and 200. Marianni won both the one and three meter dives.
The Huskies return to action on Saturday, November 12, when they host Seton Hall at 1:00 p.m. The meet will take place at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.
